Aeration is a deep piercing of soil in order to improve drainage and its natural air exchange. It is carried out systematically to reduce the compaction of the soil payer. This leads to improved air access to the roots and growth is stimulated; soil drainage is improved; the natural regeneration ability of the grass is stimulated.
